Looking very technical and very professional.  Should we expect any less?  No.

Can't wait to see the completed project, looks great so far.

Naitram,

I'm very interested in the type/style of plug you will use.  Just one plug is the only way to go.  Back in my submarine days we had plugs with 128 wires in 'em, but a tad too big for a motorcycle.  But the concept is there.

Looks very nice Neal [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] Is the head unit & speakers water proof? Once it's all buttoned up it's gonna look sweeeeet! I almost bought the same bike from a guy in Green Bay. But I got a call from my dealer that an '04 SEEG was mine if I wanted it. If it would have been black/blue, I would have bought the used purple roadking. Sharp set-up you have going.

Good luck with the remainder,

Grover

Naitram,

Don't know if you've tried the fairing mounted mirrors but I have had them on three ultras and really like them.

Naitram;
I would recomend putting a block of wood horizontally across the fairing and bolt it to the support bars for the back of the radio to sit on. I did a Hawg-wired install in a buddies DF this weekend and he was telling me how the radio seems to bounce around. We decided to make this little mod to support the rear of the radio. Sorry I did not think to take pics [smiley=oops.gif]

thats a good idea, seems pretty solid now, had to dremel the opening a bit just to get the head unit in.

when you did the install di you guys pull the outer fairing, while it was on the bike or di you remove the entire fairing forst?

We pulled it while it was on the bike. We then epoxied the bolts in place to get it back together.
