GREAT BIKE- HOW DOES IT COMPARE TO YOUR OTHER BIKES?? In laws used to live in weatherford, some others still in leveland, whitharald, lubbock :bananarock:

The '05 Ultra was my first Harley after riding metrics all my life.  I loved that bike, the looks the handling, the power, everything.  Then the '07s came out with the bigger motor and six speed, and I had to have one (FLHTC).  Turned out to be a mistake. The best thing about the '07 was the new stereo that played MP3 CD's.  I never did like the six speed transmission, seems like I was constantly looking for the right gear. The 96 inch motor ran very hot, and did a lot of stumbling and "chugging" for lack of a better term.  I was able to fix a lot of that with a set of O2IEDs but the '05 with it's 88 inch motor still ran better.

I had wanted one of these '04 SEEG pumpkins since they were announced, and ran across this one at a bargain price.  It needs a few things done (some peeling chrome) but other than that it's ready to go. The pumpkin will outrun either of my other H-Ds pretty handily, and pulls hard from 1500 rpm, something the 96 would never do (2000 rpm minimum or it would chug).  I miss the overdrive tranny, but find that I miss it less and less with every ride.  I do miss the HK stereo though, and am looking into some upgrades for the SEEG stereo.

I just bought this bike a week ago today and already have 1200 miles on it.  I'm excited about riding this one, something I honestly can't say about the '07 Classic.

I have the same bike with the cvo radio.. Contact Jim (HD Dude) and he can fix you up with some Hawg Wired speakers and amp..  Great investment and you will love the results. As for the 6 speed, I went fot the Baker DD6 gear set and I love it. Not cheap though, but it makes a difference.  Enjoy it :2vrolijk_21:
