04 cvo duece lacks low end

got my first cvo this year, thinking about a gear change to wake up the lower end, wife and i do short 50-75 mile blasts and alot of around time driving and it seems to lack "out of hole" response..any suggestions if this would help and any personal experiences..thanks

Hmm. I always found mine was quite peppy? In fact, very strong out of the hole and quick - For a Harley that is.

I've added the Heavy Breather, the Big Radius, a Power Commander, and had a custom tune made by John Golden, and it runs like a raped ape, but again, for a Harley. Not many other Harley's can keep up with it. However, just about any metric will run circles around it, so it depends on what you are comparing it to.

Might want to double-check it's running in tip-top shape, and perhaps look at some performance mods. I hesistate recommending dropping the gearing right off, as with the 5 spd, that forces a big trade off on the highway.
