Rode to Work!
« on: March 29, 2006, 01:32:54 PM »

Yippee!  [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif]

The temperature is above 50 degree's today and no sign of rain in Central Ohio. What a welcome change soooo to honor the event I rode to work today!

And even more good news.....all my leather's still fit after a looonnnnggg winter here. [smiley=huepfenlol2.gif]

Only bike in the parking lot though........what's up with these white collar hi-rise worker's anyway? I guess I'm the only non-comformist left.  [smiley=banana.gif]

Looks like tomorrow the weather will be even better.  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Neil  Are you controlling the radio from your handlebars or at the face ? HD_Dude makes an interface you can hook up any head unit to the factory handlebar switches Beags hooked a Sony head into a 99 UC with the set-up. While our SERKs didn't come with the switches you can get em from H-D

l've been looking into that, but i think it relies on having an E-glide harness

Fatboy, Congrats!  First ride of the year?  That's terrible!!!   :'(  About TWO MONTHS AGO, I called a Yankee friend on the cellphone and said, "You know how you can tell I live in Georgia?"  He said, "No.  How?"  I rolled down the window and stuck the phone out of it and said, "Listen!  There are Harleys EVERYWHERE!! Just sucks when you get to ride year round, doesn't it?"    [smiley=banana.gif]

The HSA unit that Spidey is referring to does plug into the eglide harness. It can be modified to wire into the handle switches directly but it would take some work. let me know if you interested.

Nah...I'm betting the Wing-Dinger's skipped work and went to Bingo then the Ice Cream Stand today......if it was such a nice day to ride. Gotta have priorities!
