Rear light bar

I have added the turn signals and brake lights to the tour pack on my 2010 UC SE5 and am considering removing the turn signals and light bar for a cleaner look.  Has anyone done this, and what kind of problems could I have??

  My opinion and biggest fear i have is getting run from behind.  Never can have enough illumination in back and the brighter the better.

This is a picture of my 1996 FLHTCU that I did pretty much what you want to do.  Tour pack was removable as well.  If interested I have one of the Drag Specialties License brackets in a closet I think it should still work.  Turnsignals are between saddle bags.
