Not to rain on anyone's parade, BUT  when I crashed my old 03 SERk last June, I damn near got hung up on the fact that the tires on it had not been purchased and installed by a dealer and there were no records for the tires.A friend had gotten them for me at a discount and I had them mounted a small shop locally.  Forunately, my insurere, State Farm hired a tire lab to determine what had happended to the tire and they were able to do a trace back to the factory on the numbers on the sidewall. Still, for me in the future, I will be buying all my tires and having them installed (you can still pull you own wheels and save a couple bucks) by my dealer so that there are complete records on the purchase and so also I would imagine that my insurer has some one to blame if they can. Maybe it's just me, but doing all this somehow gives me some peace of mind and what am I spending - - - - - - $20, $30 more this way. On average I buy a new rear tire every 9 months and a new front one every 19 months, it doesn't seem like a big deal in the grand scheme of things.

But that's just MY opinion.

From my thread at http://flhrsei.org/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?num=1142985907/15

Have to recommend this guy to anyone who needs tyres - I've got no connection with him (obviously) other than being a very satisfied customer, now that I've tested out his customer service too!

In summary - prices were good, shipping charge was excellent, speed of shipping brilliant.  Unfortunately he sent me wide whitewalls rather than slim. I emailed to say so, and got an immediate response - the correct ones were shipped within hours, no hassle, no "need the wrong ones back first", just problem fixed!  I wish all my suppliers were this easy to deal with.

Spiderman, I should have been more specifec with my question. These tires are for my show bike. I am like you in only purchasing tires for my SEEG from the dealer. I dont want any questions to arise if something should happen.
Eqcons, Thanks for the info. I have built a 2002 FLHT show bike. It has a 200/50/18 rear and a 120/70/21 front. I ordered them today.
Soon as the paint is done I will post some pics.
