 FWIW, I stopped by a local dealer today and they told me the mid-year additon to the line-up will be "Black & Blue".

 Same graphics scheme as the current Rio Red.

 I agree with you, every dealer I visit has CVO's sitting on there floors some I visit have had SERG's, FLHXSE and the CUSE6's sitting there priced at straight MSRP looking for a home since the late Fall.

 Obviously with demand lacking you think they'd show more creativity to boost sales. I also think the price points have stretched past the average consumer's willingness to spend.

The whole MSRP thing with H-D never ceases to amaze me. What else do you buy that sells at straight MSRP? Back 10 years ago when demand was high and you had to wait for a bike...they could get away with that tactic. Not so nowadays. If H-D and their dealers want to move product...they better change their approach soon. Othwerwise................... :'(

I don't think the economy will support an additional color scheme.  Especially if it wasn't initially planned for.  I know there is the upcoming dealers meeting in February, we will see.

I'm first in line on one at the local dealer.  It'd be interesting to hear their reaction were I to call before they leave town for Orlando and say, "Saw it already, not interested." 8)

That could happen.
Even with the new frame, all the whistles and bells it's hard to beat that 04/05 SEEG series.
If I could transfer the guts of the 04/05 SEEG to the new frame there would be no choice for me.
Newer is always newer but not always better.
