My first impression is I like the red better.  I look forward to some better pics, though.  Too bad there's no new gadgets like last year with the GPS on the "dark" ones.  It appears it truly is just a color change this time around.

Dry weight on the '04 was 785.  Tough comparison since no TP, rear speakers, amp, yada, yada, yada ...

Chip makes a good point though...

I did some work on a friends 04 Electra Glide last fall.  The work required my riding it a few times.  I had not ridden an 04 since my 04 SEEG.  I was amazed at how light his Electra Glide felt in comparison to my SEUC.  I really enjoyed riding it!

Brian

Just another thought about keeping the 04.
My bike garage is perfect for 4 baggers.
But one of them has to go on the lift.
The 01 SERG, the 03 Classic and the 05 SEEG all with Hawg wired and Tour paks and other misc stuff go up on the lift easy. Real easy!
The 09 SEUC is another story. At 924 lbs. it's a heavy sumbeach. I have to get it rolling to get it on the lift.
Try pushing Tommy's and you will be amazed at the difference.

It looks like the color is called Twilight Blue & Candy Cobalt.  I assume that the Twilight Blue will be more of a dark navy and maybe it will have some metal flake.  I think that Candy Cobalt was the description of my '07 SERK.  Has HD used the Twilight Blue color before?

It's an interesting combo, however blue isn't as fast as red

Didn't an '08 SERK come in the Twilight Blue/Candy Cobalt combo?  That might shed some light on how the color combination would look!

Twilight blue is the same color of the dark blue used on the lowers of the 2009 Ultra SE. Appears black at a distance but up close and in the sun its really sparkles.
