Ayvalik Turkey

Finally weather got beautiful enough to start the riding season.I only have a few pictures that friends took.I forgot to take my camera but i will for sure next time.But still its better than nothing.National rally will be held in the small town of Ayvalik on the aegean coast.Hog guys from Istanbul were on their way to organise things for the rally on a return trip from some other ride and i just joined the pack.So officially this one is my first ride for this year.We were 5 bikes in total.If anyone wishes to join the national rally PM me.By the way this was a sunday and i drank till morning.Got so drunk had to take a cab back home to go to my bosses easter party.Just had to go back there to pickup the bike.My wife gave me a ride. I love this woman hehehe.Of course she bitched like hell hehehe.

Some great pics, and I've forgotten how really nice the coastline is there. I was stationed in Turkey twice during my Air Force days, small place called Karatas near Adana but close to the coast and then spent another tour flying up and down the coast from Incirlik AB and elsewhere.

Hey Joe!!!
When I grew up there were lotsa usaf and military personnel stationed here in Izmir too.But after the cold war they moved bases closer to arabian border on south east but we still have few people from US armed forces.As a matter of fact the first harley i ever remember when i was about 11 years old belonged to a USAF guy.He was one of the neighbors.Ahh good old days that was some 25 years ago.But hey now i can ride my own right?Finally  old enough for that lol.Do you come back to visit?If you do let me know maybe we can ride together.

Great to see Harleys rolling there, thanks for those pics, and DO take many more, and post them up. I've never been there myself, and would love to see your land threw the eye of a rider!
