J&M Elite Helmet Headset Insatll
« on: April 13, 2011, 09:45:50 AM »

Anyone do their own installation of the J&M Elite headset in the Shoei Qwest or Arai RX-Q ?

Looking at it, the ear section has to be cut and the chin bar foam has to be cut.  Instructions say lift the chin bar foam off the outer shell and place mic from behind.

I used the Popsicle stick to try to move the chin bar foam, but is does not want to move!  Just a moment of pause before I chop up $800 worth of helmets.

Any advice on this?

Thanks, Gearheadfmc

J&M does a great, professional install for $50.00. You may consider shipping it to them.
