He did the 1/2 size larger thing and was pleased with the fit.  He was also very surprised (and pleased) at how light weight the boots were.  I'll find out where he shopped and post the info.  I bought mine at a Cruiserworks booth set up at Daytona Bike Week in '05.

He bought the Classic and paid $229.00.  He bought them directly from Cruiserworks through their website.  Try http://www.cruiserworks.com.

Jorge...give them a call at the manufacturer...they are very helpful, and great customer service.  They will help you with sizing as well.  Like I mentioned, depending on the style you choose, they will suggest that you get the largest size you've ever worn...normally I wear an 8, but in these I got an 8 1/2 and they fit perfectly.

J&P also sells them, but I'd rather deal directly with Cruiserworks, if were you.

Oh yeah...Jorge...if your wife needs a pair too, then have her look at the Lady Lace version...Suzanne is VERY picky about her boots...she does not like "clunky" looking shoes or boots...she LOVES her Cruiserworks...I'll have to say that for a motorcycle boot that follows function over form, they are a very nice looking women's boot...Suzanne thinks they are more comfortable than any of her other shoes/boots.

The August '06 CYCLE WORLD has an ad in the back showing "$219.00, FREE SHIPPING, VISA M/C" from a place called "Rodney's" with a website at http://www.rodneyscyclehouse.com.  They show a phone number as 501-562-6336 (Arkansas).  I don't know anything about them, but you can check with them if you like.

On the subject of Cruiserwerk boots, but husband has had the Men's Touring boot for more than 3 years now.  Never had wet feet, and he claims they are very comfortable for walking around a lot, like if you are at a rally or something.   [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Anybody want a deal on a pair of Classic Size 13 Wide only worn to Sturgis, Daytona, Barber Motor Sports Park, Blue Ridge Parkway boots.  I'd sell mine and buy the 13-1/2 that I need.

I'll stick my vote in for the Cruiserworks boots. I've had the side zip for several years and love them. Got 'em direct from Cruiserworks (great folks to work with). Also, I wear the Cruiserworks socks (Cruisemax, I think) they are wicking and keep your feet from sweating. I have the crew and the one with the heel. Either one is great. See 'em on the Cruiserworks website.
Tested the boots out standing in the Nantahala river last month... they DO NOT leak! The only time I get water in them is when I fail to put on raingear soon enough and water runs down my legs.
I can walk all day in them and no barking dogs.

I own a nice Harley two piece rain suit but it takes up too much room.  Last year at the Custer Crusin' rally (runs concurrent w/ Sturgis rally) they had a vendor selling Frogg Toggs.  They are light and fold into a small bag.  My wife and I have had plenty of chances to use them and we think they're the best thing going.  They only cost about $70 bucks a set.  They are breathable like Gortex where moisture escapes.  You can probably find them by doing a Google search.  I think you have to be careful not to touch the material on hot pipes.  I'm sure it would melt.  8-)
