What is the reason for installing one?
Just for looks...or function?

I put mine on for improved rigidity, the fact that it looks shiney bright means nothing to me! :huepfenlol2: :nixweiss:

That is the same one I bought. Wanted it for both, looks & function. Also add rigidity, & help keep new front tire from cupping(supposedly). Don't want to damage the dust covers and I want them to go back into place & fit tight again. Great pic of the brace by the way!

I didn't pull them off (dust covers). I put the brace partially covering the cover. I had no directions with mine, so I just put it all together loosely and then tightened it all up, legs first then cross bar frame after.just take your time and get it even side to side.
