I wouldn't.

I suppose it depends on your relationship with your dealer...

Kind of depends on the dealer.  Some won't care and others might.

To be safe you could take it out.  The bike will still run and there would be no issue.

I brought my bike to the shop today after taking out PCV. When I talked to the service manager he said I could have left it in.He said the only issue would have been if whatever is broken was from the use of the PCV. :nervous: Now I just have to wait and see what they find broken  :confused5:  :nixweiss:

Those extended warranty's do come in handy. I always get one on a major purchase.

For future reference, unless a modification can be shown to have caused the malfunction, the warrantor is required to honor the original warranty.  This is covered under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act.

all true

however - the extended warranty does not come under the act - you pay a fee and agree to terms - they agree to fix if needed - one of the terms is "no modifications"

if it were me id remove the thing for service just in case you get somebody who is itching to ruin your day by perhaps - noting its presence on some record that may cause trouble later

if its out of warranty and there is no esp - then do whatever you want
