Well it happened to me too. :(

Just as i started to leave on my 12 day bike trip. 4100km and heading down the QEW listening to the guitar solo of ZZ Top the left side started cutting out. When i made it down to New Oreans HD for a service they said the amp was no good. They also when on to say that they are not very well made and cheap parts are used. :'(

Got back to Toronto with the radio still working but could not turn it up. Will be going to the dealer this week and will let you all know the end result.

All my RHS speakers on Black SG CVO 2011 are in/out all the time so bloody frustrating , dealer told me when they went to order new amp last friday they are now "obsolete " and new amps will not be available until 7/22.

So if thats the case what amps are they fitting now .

Also my amp  started to go wrong at 5000 miles .

This with now 2 rear lights gone and replaced has me believing they are cutting corners with cheap parts . This may be my last CVO if this keeps up . Also the paint job quality is no way as good as my CVO Road King in black .

Also does anyone have a executive HD email address for complaints ?

Thanks all this site is a a god send

Even though i have a bill from a HD dealership saying that the radio needs to be replaced my Toronto dealership still wants to look at it. :nixweiss: I will be taking it in on June 30th for assessment.

I just had amp #3 installed last weekend and asked what revision the p/n was in by now.  I was told it's the original p/n.  The next failure will trigger a trip to HD Dude for a Hawg Wired unit.

Because of the long weekend i had to reschedule and dropped off my ride an hour ago. They wanted to keep it to properly analyze the problem saying that it might not be the amp like the dealership in New Orleans said. Why do i get the "here we go " feeling. :-X
