Don't know about the reduced reach bars, but DO NOT LET A HARLEY DEALER INSTALL BARS!  Two different HD dealers in SoCal quoted $1500 to install bars.  They claimed that ALL the lines have to be replaced.

An excellent technician that is on this site will do it for $500, and do a better job, IMO.  It's worth looking around.

Good Luck!

I have used the reduced bars on both a Eglide and a roadking and the stock cvo roadglide bars seem to feel exactly the same to me. Before you buy you should double check to make sure they are different enough to to make it worthwhile.
They might even be the same part.

The bars are adjustable. Have you tried adjusting them a little bit back yet? I did mine and it made enough of a difference. As I recall, you just take a couple of screws out of the spedo pod to get to the bolts holding the bars in place.

I loosened the clamp, rotated the bars back a bit until my wrists were straight, then repositioned the hand controls and mirrors. Reduced-reach at no cost, and feels MUCH more natural.
