Any thoughts, good or bad, on this product? Is there anything else with the same qualities out there?

IMO this is a great product. Have it on the saddlebag lids. Been there for over a year with no problems.

Ditto on the vote of confidence on the hard-bag lid armor.  Great stuff!  Just view the installation video a couple of times, follow the directions exactly, take your time and it'll come out great.  Good luck,
