Changing out floor boards for pegs?

Has anyone changed out the floor boards for pegs? The wife just isnt too sure about the floor boards.

I have been researching the heck out of this and trying to find an option that isn't $1,000 dollars!!! I do not want the floor boards. "Outlaw" seems to have some that are at least priced fairly. The kickstand and brake lines have to be addressed when doing this also and sometimes the shift linkage. I am considering making some brackets that will allow the use of all the original equip. (I like) except the boards and mounting.

Accutronics is another but pricey.

Search "softail forward controls" and then go to ebay and you will find most everyone that's making something.
