09 CVO Fat Bob dyno tuned today
« on: May 03, 2011, 06:39:08 PM »

My 09 CVO had the heads ported by BigBoyz (My second set. Bean does a great job at a good price). Installed the Andrews 54H cams and V&H Propipe Chrome 2 into 1. Compression set at 9.8 to 1. Got the TTS Master Tuner and sent it to the tuner. 105HP and 124TQ. I thought about a more aggressive cam but used the 54H in my 103 SG and I liked it so much I decided to stick with it. I will definately be using the 54 in my CVO SG at the proper time. May even use the one in the Fat Bob and put something elese in there. From an earlier post I intended to post some pictures but can't figure it out. I'll try later.

Gary,

Just look right below where you add the text for your posts, click the browse tab and then find the picture you want to add on your computer. After the destination (on your computer) shows up in the attach field all you have to do after completing the text portion is hit post.

There are restrictions: a) file size cannot be any bigger than 2200 KB or 2.2 MB, you can tell this by placing your cursor over the picture file, a properties window will pop up telling you the file size, or you can just pick the "LIST" option under "View" at the top when you're in the folder with the picture to give you the file size. Also, b) many programs save pictures as bmp files, which I believe you have sent me via PM, these need to be changed to jpg, or jpeg to be able to post since the site doesn't accept bmp picture files.

Have you rode her yet? Get a fund set up for rear tires. :huepfenlol2: I put in the HD259e cam, I wonder how it compares? The dyno numbers I have are about the same.

Does your yellow bike have a name?

Was wondering how the 259 cam worked out .Was it the only thing you changed or did you change the pistons too.

I had the heads reworked by BigBoyz Heads. The cams were the Andrews 54H. No pistons were changed.

I did the kit from Harley that included the 259e and the high compressions pistons(10.5:1), push rods, heads cleaned up and tuner. I did use the same pipe pictured on this thread. Results are nice at 120 tq and 111hp.

Those are nice numbers .I am thinking about a Woods Tw-777 its a new bolt in cam. They dont have any numbers on it yet but since i dont want to pull the heads it might be my choice.

Try it and see how it works let us know. Of all the CVO bikes I think the Fatbob is the natural hot rod. :2vrolijk_21:

Sounds like you guys are pulling pretty good numbers with the upgrades...just had my cvo on the dyno, pulled 113hp and 115lb @3500. Only upgrades are the PCV and the Samson Street sweepers.
