Got tired of waiting on the motor company to bring out a bagger with the Revolution powerplant so I went with a bike I've had my eyes on for a long time...A 06 Ultra SE CVO. Found one with 17k miles thats never been in the rain. Looked it over good last night after getting it home and I'd same the previous owner wasn't lying. It is clean. He didn't want to give up riding altogether. He just couldn't justify having the CVO. So he bought my 1995 FLHT that had 107k miles on it. Two things I've noticed so far, oil pressure on this 103 twin cam is a lot lower than my old evo and the volt meter reads much higher. Going to snoop around the forum to see if I can find any info on this.

At least you got a bike with the reliable 103" motor

You don't say what your oil pressure or volt meter is at but Harley gauges are notorius for being inaccurate.

At idle oil pressure is barely above 0 when warmed up. While crusing at 3k RPM it's in the upper 20's. Oil light has never come on with the engine running. The only time my Evo motor showed this low of oil pressure was when it was REAL hot. It would have 30 PSI while underway. I realize the lubrication system on the TC motor is different than the Evos. I may be seeing those differences and it's just a matter of getting used to it.

Volt meter swings almost all the way to right when the motor is running. With ignition on (motor not running) it's reading 12 volts. Volt meter on my 95 never swung this far to the right. Both gauges on that bike was pretty accurate. Once I replaced the shunt type voltage regulator, the volt meter characteristics were much like a car. The low or overcharge light has never come on.

Planning on doing the Sky Line again this summer. Riding through Winchester tomorrow AM in route to Cleveland. I live in Williamsburg and take I95 to Fredricksburg and then 17 into Winchester. If it's dry I'm getting off on 522 and going to snake my way to Paw Paw WV and then to Cumberland MD then on to I68.

I also have an 06 SEUC is a great bike my oil pressure did the same thing after discussion with long time 103 owners that seems to be the norm as for the charge readings mine does not do that maybe indicates a bad cell in the battery asking for more juice had a car that did that once.
