I saw this bike in August at the HD Museum in Milwaukee. Brings new meaning to loaded

And he's from Elk Grove.  I'll have to keep an eye out for that bike.......ask him how that works for him. ;D

Looks unsafe to me. Just because you can get it all on there does not make it safe! Overloading can causing all kinds of handling problems and tire problems. I think you would be safer with a trailer. JMO   :nixweiss:

Not according to the MoCo.....they say that the trailers cause the bikes to be unsafe.  :nixweiss: spyder

I'm not a fan of trailers by any means. I always thought a trailer would get the best of you in an emergency situation. Unfortenitly a friend of mine just proved my theory when he blew a tire on his trailer and wrecked putting him and girfriend in the hospital. That was a goldwing with trailer. Just saying. don't think the overloading looks or is safe. I am an aggressive rider and that makes things even worse when overloading tire ratings etc. I loaded up the low rider for Sturgis in 02 and had a wind gust on 95 in S.D. send me from right lane to left shoulder before I could blink an eye. I have passed bikes on the rode and wondered how the tires had not already blown out. I know prople do it. Not my cup of tea. I discovered ups'ing my gear to sturgis and love it. Maybe a winebago is in thier future?  :2vrolijk_21:

Same thing can happen when the rear tire goes out on the bike! I've seen more bike
down with blown rears then flats on trailers.
