Garmin VS Lowrance

Help!  I am looking at both the Garmin 27xx/28xx units and the Lowrance 500 series units.  I like things about both.  What do you guys think about the two.  I see most of you went with the Garmin, why?        [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

I went with the Garmin 2720 because the vast majority of the guys/gals here are using them and like them.  After having mine for 5 months, I can see why.  Benefits of the Garmins are listed throughout that thread.  Many votes for them and only 1 for the Lowrance.
