First Oil Change For Me!
« on: May 18, 2006, 01:43:00 AM »

Hey guy's,
I need some advice if you don't mind.  This is the first time I have changed my own fluids on the SEUC.  Does anyone know the actual capacity for oil on this bike?  Manuel say's 3.3 litres but I think this is too low.  Also, now that I have put a Baker DD6 on the bike, is it still 24oz's just like the manuel say's for the stock 5 speed?  One last question: I added the 950 ml to the Primary Inspection Case just like the manuel says.  How do I check to see if this is enough?  Does the oil from the main oil filler make its way into the Primary?  This was a tough job for me especially without a lift.  I am going to put Redline in the tranny because this is what I believe Freedom put into it when they installed it.  Is this ok?
Thanks for the help

Oil is 4 quarts
Tranny should be similiar to stock (24oz) I usually add 22 then check it
The primary you need to fill it to the bottom of the clutch spring. Usually about 1 quart.
