Eventually i plan to replace this round guard with a Lindby Linbar.  i think the lines will better match the handlebars of the 2011 model.

Looks cleaner w/o the engine guard, but I was glad mine was on when the cage nailed me two months ago.  It can save your foot/leg.   ;) spyder

The main reason for the engine guard for me was the place to add highway pegs
for long journeys so I now have 3 footrest options, it was perfect on my last big trip.

Getting the Lindby Bar with pegs put on Tues.  I need somewhere else to rest my feet once in a while.  Hate thigh cramps!

I went with the Kuryakan bars that have the fold out highway pegs.
