The cover the CVO bikes are supplied with seem to have a propensity to scratch....
This could be an alternative  http://www.cycleshelter.com/

Have used this one on two bikes now...nice cover, and does not have HD written all over it, so people can't tell for sure what's under the cover.  It covers the whole bike, including exhaust.  Packs up relatively small as well.  Get the Dresser Rain cover...$79 and very good quality.  This assumes you're looking for a rain cover to use when traveling.  If not, look at their Dust Cover for indoor use.

I have 3 covers for the Ultra

CVO Cover that I never use, only good for inside to keep dust off.

the half Exigent which I carry (small) works to keep important stuff dry

and a full Dowco cover which works very well in extreme weather but is big and heavy.

Exigent, good quality, best warranty in the business. Either the dust cover or the outside one, both great product, easy to pack.

I use the DuraShield lined cover that is waterproof. The pack size is similar to a rainsuit. I like it because when we travel, it covers the entire bike, so unless you saw the bike before covering, you wouldn't know it was a CVO......a little piece of mind.

Ultra Cover, something super light for daily use
« Reply #8 on: July 04, 2011, 12:17:00 PM »

Looking for a super light cover for the Ultra SE.  I have the one that cam with the bike, but that is pretty clumsy for daily use.

Pretty dusty in the parking lot and my California duster does a lousy job.

So, what covers are being used?  Any super light, compact, 2 min installation units out there?  Maybe even a 1/2 cover sort of thing.

Thanks in advance.

I went with the Geza - very unique and will streeeeeeeetch. Highly portable as well. Careful around hot pies though. Geza ain't cheap. It all depends on what you want from a cover - storage, shade, rain protection, etc.

Went with Geza, the cover fits Roadglide as well as Streetglides.  Bought the top of the line.
