I like the general paint scheme on the 2012, but they could have left off the skull thing...never been a fan of that whole theme.

All said and done...I'm glad I got the '11 Ultra model.  The TP is a must for me, not only for space, but for the BSR's comfort.

Really like the bike-particularly the black engine and drivetrain and paint scheme.  Think its 'the' CVO to have in 2012...imho...

I do like the looks and the black out look is nice as well.  Also like some of the added doo dads like the speakers and such.....but not enough to see my 09 Orange and Black and shell much more $$$$.  I'll keep mine..for now.

We talk about added audio on the SESG for '12 over the SERG for '12, but the SESG is $2k more money.

Personally I would rather pay the $2k more and get the added audio features of the '12 SESG.

If you like a sport bike version of the RG then this is the black and white bomb. BUT I agree with TC that a tour pack is a must on the large touring bike. Simon referred to it as a great bar hopper and that's true but not a weekend trip bike like I picture the RG package. Of course we could cough up the 4k and get all the rear end fixed for momma. :huepfenlol2:

Different opinions on the tourpac being essential on a lg. touring bike.  I've toured extensively on a electraglide without a tourpac and prefer it that way. I use a waterproof strap-on bag instead of a tourpac.  So, just saying it can be another approach/preference.  spyder
