I am just a little confused by this whole matter.  Other than a few minor changes, the FLTRXSE is the same as the FLTRSE3.  Where does the "custom" come in?

We talk about added audio on the SESG for '12 over the SERG for '12, but the SESG is $2k more money.

Personally I would rather pay the $2k more and get the added audio features of the '12 SESG.

I think the MoCo missed the boat this year with the FLTRXSE...they could have had a winner if they would have given it the same accessories as the SESG, but with a frame mounted fairing.  Instead they come down with 110" stock RGC with a different paint job and threw a $30K price tag on it.  I would have paid the $2K more to get the lowers with speakers and saddle bags with speakers and amp.  I'm almost positive you won't be able to go out and buy all of that and get the paint matched for $2K.

imo they over-did the speakers on the streeglide.. seen one in person.. looks like something a kid would do..

X2 Charlie...sometimes you have to wonder what the hell they are thinking up there.  The whole look/feel of the bike is like the SG with a fixed fairing, and what's 2K when you're already paying 30K?

Different opinions on the tourpac being essential on a lg. touring bike.  I've toured extensively on a electraglide without a tourpac and prefer it that way. I use a waterproof strap-on bag instead of a tourpac.  So, just saying it can be another approach/preference.  spyder

Yup, or just get a detachable TP and have the best of both worlds.

Not sure...they screwed up...but on the upside, we now know that the accessory tourpak includes matching graphics..and nifty chrome hinge covers

I have a 2010 CVO Street Glide and I'm "thinking" of the CVO Road Glide (and we all know what that "thinking" turns into)...Luke...must resist the "Dark Side"!

Nice pictures, thanks for posting.  That bike just begs to have a bunch of blacked out parts added to it (front end, crash bar, exhaust, front signals, floorboards, just to name a few).  Oh and if you buy the tour pak, I see you can now get gloss black hinges and latches.

You have to give it to Mother Harley, they know how to do a bike half way, so you have to spend another $3-4k to finish the job.

Better questions, will you be able to by that chopped pack with the graphics to match the bike.

I take it you have seen the bikes in person.  Does the white really pop with good flake and sparkle?

Have you seen all three colors? 

Not sure if I like the blue or white best.

I have not seen any of the road glides.. i did see a streetglide at local dealed getting prepped..

 I just cant do blue or brown on a hog..  so its the skunk for me..
