Did I get the wrong derby cover gasket ? HELP !

I bought a new gasket for my clutch cover on the primary of my 08 SERK and the HD dealer gave me a 7" diameter solid disc gasket ( part # 25416-99C ). When I took the Cover off, it had a large orange o-ring that fit in a groove in the cover.

Did the dealer give me the wrong gasket or is this the new style that I should go with?    :nixweiss:

Yes they did give you the wrong one.  Go back and bring them your o-ring gasket.

  you can still use the 25416-99c if you want to. both work fine.

The orange O ring is for the stock derby cover. The flat fiber 1 is for any p&a or aftermarket cover.
