That's a great story, Scrm-R.  This is a good, inexpensive mod that might save a life at some point.  Plus it's a whole lotta fun waking people up who drive with their brains in neutral.

Did my air horn a while back and just got done with the horn cover.  Just wanted to get rid of the cow bell.  I used the airwing horn cover and added a timing cover to it for a little bling-bling factor.  Let's Roll

That looks GREAT!  Got more money in the cover than the horn, don'tcha?  :)

Yep, that's a good lookin' horn cover.  Mine's not stock...it has flames sculpted out of it, with a burgundy wire mesh behind them, but it's still done using the stock cowbell...it matches my air cleaner cover.

Let me think, yeap!, but isn't that how it goes.  I upgraded the horn but it still looked shiity and it was time for a change.  So out came the wallet and cha-ching $$, not bad compare to some of the mass produce covers I liked and it wasn't that hard to put together.  Let's Roll

That looks good Gabe.  Plenty of room to bury the horn and hide the air line too.  Really nice  [smiley=nixweiss.gif] .

Don, it took me a while to get the cover that I liked, but got it done. Also I used 1/4" vacumm line, it was more user friendly.  Will see how it holds up as is not as tuff as fuel line.  So far so good.  Thanks for your help. Let's Roll

Thanks for information. I have the same cover, and had wondered if this horn would work with modified install that is suggested here. On second thought should I be thanking you for providing more ways for me to spend money? Hell yea!!! ;D

Scrm-r, very cool.  I had seen a few die cut like that just never pulled the trigger.  I like the mesh insert, takes it to the next level.  Let's Roll
