Yea, B...I knew that chrome plate would get your goat [smiley=huepfenlol2.gif] It is nice, though...they had just got them in when I was talking to D on the phone, so I lucked out! I can say one thing...they have fantastic customer service!!!! [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] We talked back and forth a couple of times to be sure I was getting what I needed, then I had it in three days. The quality of the mount is excellent...thanks for the recommendation. I've got the Ram on the Ducati with another cradle (the cradles are only 10 bucks), so I can swap back and forth between bikes, and also have the car mount that came with the "kit" I bought which contained the North America V7 CD, cig power cord, and a couple of other mounts for flat surfaces. This unit doesn't talk to you, but chirps when it's time to do something.
I've used the GPS in the car too...it's one of those things that you don't know how you ever lived without it...there's been many times in the past when I wished I had something like this, particularly out in the woods and on the lake at night.
It'll be handy for the MV trip!!!
