Shocking Grip
« on: September 05, 2011, 11:50:53 AM »

The weird stuff always happens to me!
The left side hand grip has a current running through it! While riding if I put my hand next to the switch housing I get a real jolt!
Had it to the dealership and 2 different techs could not find or feel any problem. They took the switch housing apart but found nothing. I didn't get out of the parking lot before I felt it again.
Let me know if you have any ideas.
Thanks
Bill

Like Twolane said...it's your heated grips.  This is not the first time this has been reported.

I'd probably let them replace the grips once, if you have a dealer that has a tech that won't F@#$ up more than they fix.  If they fail again, just put Heat Demons on and forget about it from then on.
