Bad Land.

Great national park. The scale of the bad area surrounded by wide open grasslands is pretty striking. A must see National Park.

Heading from the Bad Lands to Souix Falls my wife made me stop here because she was getting sore. Sissy Girl! We'll I didn't complain about the break either.

After being detoured through central Iowa (I-29 closed South of Council Bluffs) we finally made it home safe and sound after a 650 + mile day.

Again, thanks for all the packing input. I hope you enjoyed the ride.

Did you bring back the quart of un-opened oil??   ::)  Sounds like a fun ride, although it looked a little chilly at times.

Yes, the quart of un-opened oil returned and is back on the shelf.

Great job on getting back to us with pics.

Now for a final bit input/feedback from you:

What would you leave behind next time?

What would you take that didn't make the trip?

Well I ended up having plenty of room even after packing a qt of oil, tools, flashlight, tire plug kit, small/mini air compressor, extra bungy cord and an air gauge. Since I never used them, except for the air gauge, I could have probably left it all behind. But there were several sections of this ride where we were out in the middle of nowhere. Given that and the fact that I had plenty of room I'm betting I'd take it all again just to be safe. You just never know. Ya know?
