The 10th Anniv of this tragic day will soon be upon us.

We should all watch, reflect, pray for those families who were impacted and remember who did this.

Relived it today as I watched the series of events that happened on 9/11. I will NEVER forget. God Bless those that lost loved ones on this horrific day.

I've been hooked on the National Geographic channel, Discover, the Learning Channel, etc. over the past days--there are some amazing stories being told.

Went to NYC and Ground Zero for the first time last fall. Can't find words to describe the feelings.

Saw a good documentary on the Memorial Site and the preparations for the upcoming anniversiary and it is truly awe-inspiring and mind-boggling.

I know I'll never forget and do what I can so that others don't forget, either.

I used to work on the 101st floor of 2 WTC back in the mid 80's, and lost a couple of friends 10 years ago. I will never forget, nor will I ever forgive!

I will NEVER forget, and NEVER forgive those animals for what they did.

I had recently been laid off, so I was home that awful day. A friend called me that morning and told me to turn on CNN, so I did. I sat there stunned, angered, miserably sad, and weeping the rest of that day and well into the night. It was horrible what those subhuman SOBs did that day... I wanted our government to go nuke Afghanistan that day... but in retrospect I realized that wouldn't have made the situation any better...

I just hope all Americans and people around the world will remember what happened on Sept 11, 2001... and remember who was responsible for doing it...

I saw this bike at the Ride to Remember last year. It's owned by a firefighter here in the Atlanta area. He had it done in remembrance of all the people - civilians, police, and of course firefighters - who lost their lives that horrible day...

Except they were Saudis...not Afgans...thats where the whopping shoulda been applied....according to thier own law.

We put the taliban in to get rid of the ruskies..and they only want to torture thier own anyways...savages.

I sure hope the CIA/OSS and the the other shadowy folks have aligned them to the situation of keeping their house in order.

I will not forgive, ever, and boy were they real lucky I wasnt in charge because they would be glowing in the dark by now and oil would be free, just have to wear a radioacitve-proof suit...

USS New York

It was built with 24 tons of scrap steel from the World Trade Center ..

It is the fifth in a new class of warship - designed for missions that include special operations against terrorists. It will carry a crew of 360 sailors and 700 combat-ready Marines to be delivered ashore by helicopters and assault craft..

Steel from the World Trade Center was melted down in a foundry in Amite , LA to cast the ship's bow section. When it was poured into the molds on Sept 9, 2003, 'those big rough steelworkers treated it with total reverence,' recalled Navy Capt. Kevin Wensing, who was there. 'It was a spiritual moment for everybody there.'

Junior Chavers, foundry operations manager, said that when the trade center steel first arrived, he touched it with his hand and the 'hair on my neck stood up.' 'It had a big meaning to it for all of us,' he said. 'They knocked us down. They can't keep us down. We're going to be back.'
The ship's motto? 'Never Forget'

Emotions here in NYC are running high as the 10th anniversary approaches. I am both proud and fortunate to be involved with the rebuilding of the World Trade Center site. View below is from the east side base of Tower 1, "The Freedom Tower". Presently erecting steel at the 80th floor, 25 to go.

Tower 1 on the left, WTC 7 on right. WTC 7 was the last building to collapse, but was the first building to be rebuilt. I was proud to be involved with that project.

Participating in a 9-11 Memorial ride tomorrow.

I'd also ask that we all remember the far reaching impact of the attacks on that day which has significantly impacted our military. Iraq and Afghanistan do not happen if not for the events of that day. Please remember our fallen and wounded warriors.
