Lesson for new full face helmet
« on: June 15, 2006, 11:40:02 PM »

If you happen to be getting used to a full faced helmet for the first time here is a lesson a member here learned this afternoon.  Do not blow bubbles with your bubble gum.  No matter how absent mindedly you might do such a thing it WILL get all over your microphone >:( .

Another "heads up" for folks who are new to full face helmets:  If you happen to be a smoker, do not try to put your lid on with the coffin nail or cigar still in your mouth.  I have no idea how or why I know this, I just do.

I turned my head and spit into my shield once and thought I had hit a bug.  It took a couple of seconds for me to realize what I had done.  OK, I know that I shouldn't have admitted to this, but if you can't laugh at yourself . . .

I still haven't gotten used to reaching up to scratch my nose and not being able to find it...  [smiley=nixweiss.gif] .

There's another "accessory" for HD to come up with...

"Genuine Tripple Plated Chrome Billet Monkey Paw, on a 5 inch, pencil sized shaft, for those times when you just can't reach your nose for a good scratch...Fits easily in a Genuine Harley Davidson shirt or jacket pocket.  $69.95.  $89.95 for Opposable Thumb model for plucking out those tickling nose hairs"
