Radio Demons
« on: June 13, 2006, 10:53:20 AM »

[smiley=nixweiss.gif] Rode my 2006 SE Ultra Classic 500 miles this weekend....great ride...but my radio picked up some demons along the way.  It changes channels all by itself and also switches from CD to WB to XM to what ever it feels like.  Seems to be tied into throttle movement.

Anybody else experince these demons?

I haven't had that one.  Did you check the switch cover and switch itself?  It almost sounds like the throttle is effecting the switch input since the XM, WB etc. is controlled on the throttle side.

Haven't had the problem but it may be due to pinched wires as they run through the handlebar near the throttle. Just a thought.  [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

This is not a problem....it's a feature...... [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Seriously...sounds like you've got problems with the switches...
