Motorcycle Man Cave
« on: July 04, 2015, 11:37:51 AM »

Here are some pics of a project that I just finished. I've been wanting to do this for a long time. Only thing that's left is to hook up the cable for TV while messing around with the bikes.

Very nicely done!  An interesting choice of colors...almost a sage green.  Lots of storage space and really good lighting up above.  How did you finish the floor?

I am re-doing a portion of my garage/shed and giving the front corner over to a new "Harley Cave".  I used a concrete primer on the floor that I got at Lowes.  I had it tinted a medium blue gray color but after applying it, it immediately turned verrrrry dark blue, which bummed me out.  The concrete is less than a year old and I cleaned it well first.  My original intent had been to just keep it painted if I liked the look or use peel and stick tiles in that area, but now I will go with the piece-together tiles.  I've got them on order and they are due late next week.  (Sorry for semi-hijacking your post here!)

I love a great man-cave!  Well done!

Looks like a great layout with plenty of light. You can never have to much light!!! :cool26:

Well, I am cleaning up my garage but no way it will sparkle like this one. Great job.

Just for the bikes, nice! I have to share mine with a Jeep and kid toys, but took a picture of it with just the bike right after I remodeled it:

Man this is great! I have a place for the bikes but nothing fancy!  Someday maybe.  Years ago I kept my bike in my living room. That was actually pretty cool and so easy to clean and work on her!  That is as close as I have ever been to these great garages!

Mine is coming soon!  It all hinged on getting the pad poured for the shed (and hot tub) to have a place to put half the stuff that's in the garage so I can have some room to work ( and find things) and finish it. The shed and hot tub are getting craned into the back yard this afternoon....so....build the Costco shed ........
