Nice photos, Don.  I stayed in Zion, Bryce, and Capital Reef for a week about 10 years ago.  We were fortunate enough to get Lodge rooms in both Zion and Bryce, so were right there on top of things.  Each has it's own beauty, but each is very different.  I know it would not have been possible on the bike, but Bryce would have been absolutely spectacular with snow.  You'll have to go back sometime.

Terry, Phaze,

Great Bryce photos. Rub it in. Next time I'm bringing a snow chain for the rear wheel.  :huepfenjump3:

Heading back in May, 2012 for a week.

The rain messed up shots for the camera and the shuttle windows at Zion but it didn't dampen the views for me.
It was worth it rain or shine. With the great views and good rain gear the rain just naturally gets pushed to the back of your mind.

I had a chance to avoid the rain but would have missed Zion. Glad I went to Zion.

The snow at Bryce sensibly had me beat and after hitting ice in Cali I'm glad I didn't try it.

We were at Bryce in September and stayed at lodging on site.  When we came out to our bikes in the morning, we had to brush snow and sleet off the seats.  I recall being under-dressed for the drop in temperature that we experienced.

Awesome scenery, also with rain it still a very special
place, where there in 2001. tanks for bringing back some
memories. where hit by rain, when parking at the visitor-center. :2vrolijk_21:

Don...when you go back in May, be sure and check out the Kolab Canyon side of Zion NP...it is WAY less visited and should not be missed.

Always thought Zion would be a great place to visit one day. Thanks for sharing the pics. Rain aside, I'm sure the scenery was awesome. Hope Mother Nature is more cooperative on you next journey.
