Comfort Stitch Question
« on: June 24, 2004, 01:48:51 PM »

I bought the RK Comfort stitch seat. I have only rode with it on for about 50 miles. It is more comfortable than the stock seat but I don't really care for the look. I did not buy the rider backrest. The stock rider backrest is to short. My question is, will the C/S backrest fit it the stock bracket or will I have to change the bracket everytime I change the seat? [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

I'm fairly certain the mounting brackets are the same.  The part number for the one that comes on our bikes stock is 52567-93B.  You should be able to compare that number to the parts list that comes with the comfort stitch backrest kit (52572-03) to be sure.  Usually, the dealers have copies of the installation instructions from ones they install on customers' bikes that show the part numbers of each of the components.
