A Brit's point of view
« on: November 03, 2011, 07:44:21 AM »

Hope this isn't too political for the site. But WTF, won't be the first time I've had one locked!

As another Brit I can't say I heard anything political in that.

Said it like it is and gets  :2vrolijk_21: :2vrolijk_21: from me.

Know this sentiment swings back and forth a little but one of the more interesting things from the guy's speech, considering the rest of it as context, was when he said "here in Europe."  Might have expected a slightly more Churchillian point of view from the speaker, given the rest of his positions.

To those in the UK; are Brits now that resigned to being tied to Brussels and Euro-national courts and rules that placing the UK "here in Europe" is really that reflexive of a response?  Even for the Tories?  A few of my friends wouldn't have dared say it that way.

I have seen a couple of his videos and have always enjoyed them.  I really love the anti-PC views.   :2vrolijk_21:

I think he got it right except, it's not just a Brit's point of view. I'll bet he poled a lot of Americans and spoke based on the feedback he received. JMHO!  :2vrolijk_21: :2vrolijk_21:

That guy certainly talks a lot of sense, i personally think Pakistan has a lot more involvement in al-qaeda, taliban & the mujahideen. Think it's time our countries like US & UK stopped giving away billions & billions to these tinpot countries & let the b......s kill each other, & about time our troops were brought back from Afghanistan. :cucumber:
