I have posted this before.  Although it really doesn't matter to me, my OCD kicks in when I look at the medallion on my bike and it says 1502 of 1800, I read the post below stating 1731 and the letter I got from the MoCo when I requested the production numbers (3263).  I am pretty good at math, but this doesn't add up.  I am not doubting any of the information posted here, just seeking why the disparity?

 When the MOCO first releases the CVO line up all the numbers are APPROXIMATE. In your case they wanted to build 1800 units, but for some reason (demand, parts, time) only 1731 got done. The 3263 number you received from Harley most likely is one of their famous errors. If you add all 3 colors offered in 2008 the number of FLHTCUSE3 bikes is 4277. If you are out there and see #1732 or higher of the anniversary bike, take a picture, I would like to see it. Wyd-Open and I have done the best we can with the information provided from a VERY reliable source inside the MOCO and share this with you, but mistakes can and do happen. In 2010 they said they would build 999 of the 2010.5 Blacked out Ultra, when only 992 were completed.

Thanks WrongWay, I by no means was disputing your massive accumulation of data, was just curious.  Maybe I will start a thread to have '08 Anniversary owners post pics of their numbered medallion.  Picture of mine tomorrow.

 No problem, I know how confusing these numbers can be. Just doing the best we can with what we got.

where would you find the number on your bike.

If your bike is serialed numbered there will be a special medalion on the bike.  It has been in various location depending on the year and model.  My '08 has it on the right access cover below the seat.  Some are on the tank/tank console.

Does anyone have the CVO production numbers for 2013? I'd be interested in the count by paint scheme for the CUSE8 in particular if the information is out there...
