Did searches of the forum and didn't see a match, so here goes...

I have a 2010 SESG.  When the '11 models came out, I drooled at the new tweeters in the dash.  (Actually I felt alittle ripped off they didn't come on the '10 models, but that's beside the point)

The tweeters just came in and I picked them up today.  They have a plugin setup, which I didn't expect.  So if I do this, I'm going to have to buy additional parts to finish the connection to the tweeters.

So has anyone installed the tweeters with the HogTunes amp/speaker combo?  At this point, I'm thinking this may be too much trouble to retrofit on a '10 model.  I was looking at the 2011 vs 2010 interfairing wiring harness at the shop.  The '11 harness has 2 additional connections, which are not present in the '10 harness.  So splicing in (somewhere) will have to be made too.

Tips/Opinions/Actual experience?

 You have to click the little box at the bottom kind of to the left side to keep a copy of it in your outbox. (I didnt see it the first few times I sent one either)

Ken if you want to have it set up as default rather than the way grandpa geez mentioned it can be done in your Profile > Personal Message Options by checking the box indicated in the picture below. Once that is done don't forget to click on "Change Profile" at the bottom to save the changes.

Thanks for the tips guys.  At the time I tried sending the message, the website just clocked and clocked.  Don't know if it was the site, the internet

Still looking for anyone that has a Hogtunes amp/fairing speakers and has added HD tweeters, for some help.

Call PEZ, HT's owner--very helpful guy.  He'd be able to tell you what tweeter would be compatible with his amp and speakers and how to wire the set-up.  Heck, he may be able to supply you with the harness.

Thanks Carl.  I had some discussions with PEZ before I bought the HD tweeters.  I just haven't sit down and given him a call yet. 

He's probably my best bet.
