New Rider again after 30+ years raising family

After giving up riding over 30 years ago, must have gone totally crazy..took Riders Edge class to see if I still had it in me..bought a new Sportster 1200 to practice on..surprising that my wife is the one who almost always wants to go (as passenger) for my Birthday this past January she bought me a new 2012 Blue CVO Softail...and we have been having great fun..have to keep practicing..and afford her constant HD outfits! May have to build her some more closet space!! People that know us and especially her cannot believe we are doing this!  Having a blast!
Glad I found this group..learning a lot..

Your topic for the thread is what caught my attention. As the parent of three children I find myself riding less and doing more with my kids before they head off into the world (no complaints). I keep saying to my buddies the bikes don't eat much and they'll be there when I get the time to hop back on them. Kuddos to you. :2vrolijk_21:
