Hi Marty:  We are neighbors! I live in Agoura.  And my bike came from your neighborhood dealer..I must admit that after reading through this site a bit I feel so inadequate!  I am not a mechanic, nor am I a experienced rider...but am practicing regularly...Let's try to meet up some time!

You bet'cha!  I did the same in 2000 when I moved back to California from Georgia.  Kids grown and space in the garage...

You might check out the "Ride Like a Pro' program out your way.  You might have to travel a bit to get to it, but they have an excellent beginner and advanced program.  http://www.ridelikeaprowestcoast.com/ 

If you're interested, contact Mark "Ironhorse" in this group.  He is the owner and instructor.  He may still be enrolling for a March 2nd coarse.

I believe constant training will keep me sharp and ready for those times where you have to step out of the norm.
