[smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] ;)  Wow, looks better than I would have imagined.   [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif]

And you have that wonderful cover for the SUBTORF that you removed too.  Looks fantastic.  What all did you have to do again?  Remember, I am not handy in the garage, except as a beer fetcher.

Ok Mobe,
How'd you get it?? The cover for  the SUBTORF...  :o

Candy; Order the rear fender trim for a softail deluxe, (about $40), go down to O'Reillys or Autozone and get some double sided trim tape, take some dykes, (no not that kind), (the kind that you snip wires with), snip off the mounting studs on the trim, test fit, apply the double sided trim tape, (made easier if you peel off the backing so it can flex), trim the tape with a single edge razor blade carefully, clean the rear fender, spray a soap and water mix on the clean rear fender, slide on, enjoy.

Candy and Tbone; I have a buddy that had an '04 SEEG. Can you believe it, someone stole his emblem. I was nice enough to get his VIN and purchase a new one for him. ;)

My husband's bike has threatened a time or two to loose it's emblem, and my tour pak has threatened to loose it's tourpak emblem, but the parts person where we tend to shop most, wants to see the vacancy of such items before putting in an order.  We have considered, but then it seems like just too much trouble to jeopardize a good working relationship over.  I sure like what you did for your buddy, though.   [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]
