I have the S&S Intake Runner on my Night Train.  My 11 Convertible has the Roland Sands Venturi Air Cleaner Speed 7 - Chrome.

I put the S&S on about 4 or 5 months ago when I changed cams and had head work. It performs beautifully and gives one's right knee more room.

The Roland Sands looks downright beautiful on the Convertible and makes the already beautiful bike stand out in a parking lot. I can not tell you the number of compliments I have received on my bike now, with many of them referring to the Roland Sands making it pop. The only drawback is that my knee does interfere with it a bit where the S&S would give you more room than the stock intake and the Roland Sands.

The S&S is suppose to even give one's engine more power than other intake systems.  I don't know about this because it was put on when the other work was done and my Night Train now runs like a demon because of the compete overhaul. I've had the same work done on my Convertible and it is amazing as well.

i too in a previous post looked at the S&S  intake also  i determent it took away some of the bike looks and lines cause it draws you to the air cleaner and not to the  bike   just my thoughts

I'm assuming you want the pictures of my Convertible with the Roland Sands air cleaner, right? If so I'll need to figure out how to post a picture. I'm working on it.

Looks sharp.  Damn, I am going to need a second job for these mods.  Good luck with the choice, but it does look sharp.

Etudeguy,

I like your setup.  What exhaust is that, and if you don't mind me asking, what is the dollar cost of that Roland Sands setup?  All in all a it visually ties together very nice.

The Roland Sands retail for $419 but you can find it cheaper. The exhaust is D&D's Fat Cats.

Like the stock set up, seems more like a Harley.
