Passenger Back Rest
« on: April 05, 2012, 04:30:37 PM »

Hi everyone..I know in the scheme of things this is not a Huge deal, but it is to my wife..(Don't forget she bought me my bike for my Birthday!) Anyway she is used to a higher placement of the cushion pad on the back rest.  The one that comes with the bike looks great, but is several inches lower than what she likes and is used to.  A quick fix was to get the regular HD bar and backrest which attaches perfectly, and fits her fine.
The chrome hardward on the original backrest is round and heavyduty, and the matching pad is super fine.  Now I have it stored in the garage and am using the regular black vinyl pad and the regular chromed HD part.  But it places the cushion higher up on her back where she likes it.

You guys have any ideas how I can solve my problem?  I really like the original pad and the feel and look of the original rounded chrome backrest...

Thanks!  :)
