Ok just got a owners Manuel looks like it holds 3 qts with filter, sound right  ? I'll run harley Dino oil

That sounds right, but I suggest you always make sure by checking with the dipstick after the first 2.5 quarts so you don't overfill.  Slightly low is much better than overfilled.

3 qts will be fine and is the correct number.

You should get a service manual and parts manual for sure!
