8500 miles on my bike, I need to replace front tire, the rear tire still looks good.
Any suggestions on that and a front break pad.

I have the exact same situation. Replacing front tire next Wednesday - my dealer recommended the Commander II, he claims they received very good feedback from other customers and their own tests, and price is more or less same. I'll give it a try.
Rear tire will be replaced later this year - will do another 3000+ km.

No, i changed it after 13000 km

OEM = behind:  DUNLOP D 407 (HARLEY-D) 200/50 R18 76 V TL
-->  D 407
and
front
--> D 408 F

Lyndall racing brakes.  Z-Plus 7256 for the front and Z-Plus 7257 for the rear.  I have both and they work very well.
