Has anyone put in 7.25 J&M speakers in a cvo streetglide? Dealer is saying I have to rewire??? Does the stock 1 ohm amp work with these?

He might be right.   I know what's in there now is only 1 ohm.  Makes it hard to change out speakers without looking at the amps. Let us know what ou end up doing.

Has anyone upgraded their speakers J&M 7.25 say they require rewiring for cvo. Will they work with the stock 1 ohm amp.

Did you have to rewire your setup or was it plug and play.

I installed them on my Ultra/SE5, no amp and am happy with them.  But I'm not one for ground thumping music, just wanted to hear it well at highway speeds ~ and slightly higher speeds!
