we should all care, in the eyes of many they are no different from us. as D00d pointed out this happened at a rally, we all go to rallies. and many in a cage would put them and us into the catagory of biker with no distinction to colors/affilations/independent
This goes back to my original post....[highlight]Stuff like this always casts a shadow on an otherwise fun event and gives the un-educated public more fuel to cast doubt upon anyone who rides. [/highlight]
Non-riders see these kinds of activities in the headlines and make a generalization that we are
all just a bunch of motorcycle riding thugs not worthy of sharing the air...hence, they don't care about sharing the road with us either.
As far as attending future/other events, my advice to anyone is the same as that which I have told my kids for years while they were growing up...."Always remember, the best way out of a bad situation is to not allow yourself to get into a bad situation in the first place."
