Four days, Eight states, 2209 miles
« on: September 13, 2012, 03:05:35 PM »

Right now I'm waiting for my new job to start, my wife mentioned that I should finish off my ABC's of touring list. I looked at what it would take, and Sunday morning I left to see some new stuff and collect points. I got home last night, just in time to miss the rain the hurricanes are sending our way. I camped out two nights, stayed at a cousin's the third so that kept expenses down. Aside from wanting to add a couple small things, I'm really happy with my bike, which has just under 16k miles now. This just reaffirms that I made a wise choice, and that the MoCo does know something about riding.

Very nice to read you had a good ride.  Heck it can take 2,200 miles just to get out of Texas.  BTW,
